Symbolism

I stopped off at a strip mall after work today. In the parking lot in front of the ABC store was spraypainted this:

I figure it's either:
1) A marking indicating some utility or cable or whatever under the asphalt
2) A hobo sign indicating that real men buy their booze here
3) Grafitti left by Austin Powers
