The fun never ends

murakoziToday is the last day of someone who's been with the company a long time, so there was a going-away lunch at a restaurant in Herndon. Since there were about 30 people going, everyone paid ahead of time and chose their food. That made things a bit more organized and also let the restaurant serve the stuff faster.
Guess who's food they forgot to bring out. Of course, there were apologies and promises that my food would be right out. After a while there were more apologies. And more. Fortunately, some of the coworkers shared some of their food with me, so I didn't go hungry.
Will this week EVER end?
