Birds of prey know they're cool

There's been a bird circling over the office park since lunchtime. At first I figured it was a hawk, but from the size, it could be a turkey vulture. I'm guessing he's not out there looking for food, so much as he's using the warm air from the parking lots to gain altitude before going elsewhere to prowl, then returning when he needs to go higher again. Of course, he could also just be showing off and taunting the office drones with his freedom on a sunny day.
