In an earlier post, I'd mentioned the radio I have on the window ledge in my office and how it's an older design. Here's the model

It's actually only a couple years old, but that design has been around forever. I just really like the design of a lot of older electronic and audio/visual equipment. I actually own an old 35mm filmstrip projector and 16mm movie projector. Just like the ones a lot of folks probably remember from their public school days. I've got maybe a dozen old elementary school level filmstrips and maybe 15 movies of varying lengths for the 16mm projector. I tend to go for educational films from the 70's. It's amazing how views of history and nutrition and such have changed in 30 years. I also own a little Minox camera. The ones you see in the old spy movies. Little rectangle that has a kinda telescoping action to advance the film.
It's a pretty good indication of my loser status, that I like stuff like that. It probably also explains why I'll be single for the rest of my life.
