One of the really cool things about journals here is being able to dig around finding other journals to read by following the friends lists of your friends and their friends and so on. There are some pretty nifty journal entries out there. Things like examples of art with the artist explaining what inspired them and how they did the work, and ongoing stories, and insightful commentaries on topics abound.
It makes one look back at one's own entries. My entries tend to be primarily fluff. There are silly links and comments and of course, lots of rambling on and on about horses. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's pretty much what I expected and even intended the journal to be. While I have been and am still told by teachers and coworkers that I have exceptional writing skills, I really don't enjoy writing (As seems to be the case for most of the things I'm good at). As a result, I just kind of throw entries together with little planning. That's why they tend to ramble all over the place, barely making any sense.
You see, I am the Ralph Wiggum to the Lisa Simpson that those other journals are, with their nifty insightful/artistic/thought-provoking posts. As I said before: I don't think that's a bad thing. After all, there's gotta be some balance out there.
And to end this entry, I'd just like to say:
My cat's breath smells like cat food.
