New kid on the block

There's a new school horse at the barn. Don got him at auction on the 18th. So far, he has no name. Amazingly, Don didn't ask what his previous name was, so he's just 'the new pony.' for now. Poor guy needs a name.

I didn't have a camera with me at the barn today (which is danged unusual for me) so I took some with the phone's camera. Here they are in all their crappy low res glory:

Walleyed on one side, like many paints

I'm open to naming suggestions to pass on to Don. He's a paint, supposedly, but not registered. As you can see in the pics, he's walleyed on the right side. Don got him the day after St. Patrick's Day, so something related to that might work. (there's already a Dan at the barn so 'Danny' is out, and Paddy sounds too much like Patty) He's friendly, but I think the previous owners were kind of stern/harsh with him, since he's a bit leery of folk until he sees another horse coming up for treats.

With that blue eye and pink skin on his face, I'm thinking we may have to be watchful for sunburn on the guy.
