There are some commercials on the radio that are just so annoying that they make me frantically jab at the preset buttons in the car to change to another station in order to escape the stupidity. Unfortunately, with the radio in my office, that's not an option. I could just turn the tuning knob to just static, but then it's a pain to get the station I want tuned back in later.
Anyway, the commercial that's been ranking high on the annoying meter lately is for Chock Full 'O Nuts coffee. I've never tried that brand, but I know it's been around forever. I assume that means that it's either good, cheap, or both, otherwise they'd have gone out of business by now. The commercial just has some singer belting out a little ditty about Chock Full 'o Nuts with lyrics that sound like they were written by a preschooler. '...Chock Full 'o Nuts, a better coffee, a billionaire's money...couldn't buUUUUyyyyyy!' Imagine that being sung by the lounge singer character Bill Murray used to do on Saturday Night Live. Bill's version would've been about 10 times better.
