Assorted weekend stuff
Oct. 17th, 2005 10:39 amFall is finally starting to arrive. It makes the Sundays at the barn a bit more enjoyable, since the cooler weather means I don't end up drenched with sweat when working. Cooler weather also seems to make the horses happier and more lively. Soon I'm going to have to switch to the cool weather barn clothes.

The car's trip computer calculates its mpg. I assume that it either got reset before I bought it at the dealer, or the previous owner didn't know how to shift gears very well. When I got it, it was showing around 20mpg. That started going up pretty quickly as I drove it around. It's now up to 29.4 and takes a while to move up. That's not quite as good as my average in the old car of 34mpg, but I'm not complaining. It's a much better car.
