Do you work here?

I don't know what it is about me, but there must be something that just says 'I work in retail/service' or something. I seem to get asked it a lot when I'm shopping. It happened again today when I stopped at the grocery after work to pick up some bread and a couple other things I needed. I was in the produce section and a pair of older women came up and asked if I worked there. There were half a dozen other men around, all of us dressed in office drone attire (dress shirt, tie, slacks, laminated badges) but for some reason I was the one they came to, bypassing all the others. Perhaps I just look like the epitome of retail. Heck, maybe I looked all managerial or something. I should look into a job as an actor in industry training films.
