Yesterday when I left work I noticed a tv van parked just down the road from the office. I didn't think much of it other than to be curious as to what story they'd be doing in a boring office park.
This morning when I came in to work, there were two more vans parked there. Again, I was curious, but didn't really put any thought into it.
This morning, I run across this:

That's the Hilton that's attached to the south end of the building here. Word just came through that they quarantined the hotel. Joy. Now I'm a little more concerned about the fact that my stomach has been kinda churny since last night. It doesn't help that a meeting ran long yesterday and, instead of meeting a former coworker for lunch, I got lunch in the little deli in the building. The deli is about 25 or 30 meters from the doorway that connects this building to the hotel and there are a lot of folks who stay in the hotel who attend conferences and meetings in the rooms around the deli.
The building management sometimes puts out baskets full of apples or oranges in front of the elevators for folks to take. I just tossed the one I picked up yesterday in the trash. I hate wasting food, but I don't wanna go risking any plague apples.
