A pony for a pony
Feb. 7th, 2007 08:32 amI had to head down to our Kentucky office on Monday for a long boring meeting on Tuesday. The closest airport down there is in Nashville, so I rented a car to get from Nashville to Bowling Green.
When I made the reservation for the rental car online, I selected "Toyota Corolla or similar." It's not like I need anything fancy for a drive that's fewer than 90 minutes long. When I arrived in Nashville, I walked out to the Hertz garage and found my name on the Gold Club board. My car was in space 197, way on the back side of the garage. I ambled on back there and found my car.
It was a bit of an upgrade from a Corolla: http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/6343/rentalcarla2.jpg
Kinda a fun car. A little spartan in the interior and if I owned one I'd replace the radio in the thing in a heartbeat. Still, it made the drive a bit more enjoyable.
As for the rest of the trip: meh. :/
