murakoziWent to a hamfest up in Timonium with Oryx yesterday. For those who don't know what a hamfest is, it's sort of a big flea market/exposition/meet for folks who are into amateur radio. There are equipment dealers as well as regular folks just selling old or spare equipment they have. Lotsa neat stuff to look at and drool over, and a lot of junk too. I resisted the urge to go spending a fortune there, thank goodness, though I did come home with a little power inverter for the car. Oryx got a couple little things as well as a dozen UPS batteries for Ferian.
I still haven't decided what I'll do about working at the barn on Sundays, once I move next month. It's hard work, but I do enjoy doing it. Odds are, I'll keep it up for a while, and see if the longer drive to and from the barn on Sundays just gets to be too much. Even if I did stop officially working there, I'd still come up now and then. I'd miss the people and the horses too much.
Allergy season is here. Woohoo! The Allegra doesn't seem to be working as well as it has in the past. I wonder if the pollen is just worse this spring. Katie's been sneezing up a storm too. Poor lil girl. I'm going to try to remember to ask the vet if there's any sort of kitty Allegra or something. I need to get something from 'em showing Kate's had all her shots for the management folks at the new apartment.
