Microsoft's Response 2
Sep. 12th, 2008 09:53 amMicrosoft's next commercial with Seinfeld and Gates:
Like the first one, I have a hard time trying to figure out what they're aiming for. At least this time, they indicate that Microsoft is trying to 'stay connected' to users, but the commercial really goes nowhere.
I really don't have anything against Vista. I've not had any real issues with it on the one machine on which I installed it. Then again, I don't use that machine much. Still, some of the early problems/issues were obviously fixed before I got it. I just don't think the two recent commercials are helping with Vista's public image. They're like watching deleted scenes from a bad episode of Seinfeld's old sitcom. Seinfeld comes off as just smarmy and annoying and Gates looks like any other politician or non-performer celebrity who gets a cameo on some show.
