murakoziThe day started early for me. Around 4am early. Katie decided that I just hadn't been meowed at enough yesterday so she hopped up on the bed and promptly proceded to rectify the situation. Then decided I needed another dose at around 5:15. The first time she did it I got up and shambled around the apartment, following her, figuring that she was complaining about being out of water, or maybe Timmy fell down a well, or there was a fire at the old Wilson farm or something. None of these turned out to be the case. Instead, she just led the way, yowing, into the living room, and promptly started to wash herself. When she woke me again later, I just shoved her off the bed.
I came into work, steady in my resolve to NOT make any coffee and just leave the two pots in the sink and wait for someone else to wash one and make a pot. I'm just too weak, though, and minutes after arriving, I'd cleaned the sludge from the red pot and had was on my way to getting a fix. Oh well. I'm just a weak, addicted, loser.
The plans for going to the hamfest up near Baltimore went down the tubes last night. I'd kind of been looking forward to going. I don't really feel like driving 70 miles to go alone, though. I'd thought about picking up a couple more ups batteries and perhaps a 12v bench power supply. Mebbe even a different antenna for the car. None of those are things I really need though.
Only 8 hours and 10 minutes til quittin time...
