Jonesing for that magic elixir

Yes, I know I haven't posted anything about Sunday yet. I'm just a procrastinator. And this aint a post about it. :)
The weather is now cool enough for me to have officially switched to autumn mode. Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the cooler weather, the colors, and just tromping through the woods or geocaching, hearing the leaves crunching around underfoot. It's also an excuse to get the leather jacket out of the closet. (some day it WILL start looking all properly worn and stuff)
This morning, along with the autumn mood came the realization that I no longer know of any places to get good locally-made cider. The Cider Barrel up in Gaithersburg closed down last year. Now that I'm in northern VA, that would've been a bit of a drive for a couple gallons, anyway. The stuff in the groceries is usually way overpasteurized or is downright apple juice. So far, I've not been able to find anyone who knows a local orchard or farmer who makes the stuff. Darnit, jacket weather is supposed to mean cider weather. It's just not autumn unless you can have some cider, hot or cold, after a day outdoors.
