Maybe that's why it's called tinkling
Oct. 22nd, 2004 10:04 amI try to set the assorted rings and alerts on my cell phone to the least obnoxious ringtones it has. The tone it plays when it receives a text message is called 'dreamsequence' or something like that, and sounds like someone going up and down a scale on a Casio keyboard emulating a harp.
The setting: The mens room.
I'd just walked in, stepped up to a urinal and started..well, doing what one normally does there.
The phone receives a text message and plays the ringtone.
The coworker standing at the next urinal looks over "You can make MUSIC with it?"
Me: Hey, I'm talented
Coworker: You must be REALLY popular on dates!
