Mighty predator

murakoziI came home a little early today, since someone from maintenance was SUPPOSED to be here at 3. 'course they weren't, but that's another story.
When I opened the front door I startled Katie. She was in the middle of the living room with one of her stuffed mouse toys and jumped up all suprised, then slunk off. How rude of me to interrupt her while she was playing with her prey. While waiting for the maintenance guy, I went into the kitchen and did last night's dishes and stuff. I could hear a little jingly bell sound, indicating Kate was playing again. When I came back out into the living room, she had a different toy. She was playing with her 'vet' toy. The unusual thing was that she'd put her mouse toy back in the box. It was sitting right on top of the other toys in there. Normally she just leaves her toys strewn about the apartment. Maybe my cleaning and vacuuming last night rubbed off on her and she was being tidy 'n putting her things away.
