Well darn. I discovered that when the new radio got installed they must've missed making one connection when they put the front panel of the dash back on. The button for the trip computer, which toggles the odometer display between trip odometer, mpg, and miles remaining no longer does anything. Fortuntely, that's not a major problem. It's just annoying not to be able to reset the trip odometer or see what kind of fuel economy the car says it's getting.
I called the installers and they said to bring it in and they'll fix it. Should be a quick job. I'll take it by this Saturday morning.
Other than that, I'm lovin the new radio. I can play CD's with no issues and the sat radio is great.
Next car project: Finally figure out where and how to install the mobile ham radio in there.
