I guess it's time to go ahead and reveal the movies that folks couldn't guess from the quotes a couple posts back:

2. My Name is Nobody - Rather goofy, odd dubbing even for a spaghetti western.  While not officially Sergio Leone's movie, he influenced it greatly.  It was the last such western he was involved with and it very much looks like he was poking a bit of fun at his earlier work.  Aspects of this movie have influenced some of the Tauren related stuff I've written.  Ennio Morricone's score, as usual, has some really great pieces.

3.  The IPCRESS File - Michael Caine playing a character given the option of being a spy or being in prison.  The Bond films were already big around the time and this film is a rather big contrast to them.  Caine's character is flawed, reluctant, and lives a far from glamorous life.

4.  Leon (aka The Professional) - The US release was changed a bit, but is still a good movie.  I kinda like Jean Reno in anything which obviously makes me like this movie a lot.  Gary Oldman proves once again that he's very good at playing a dangerous pscyho type with power.  Gotta like Natalie Portman's character too.

7.  Rooster Cogburn - John Wayne and Katharine Hepburn play characters that I think go together even better than Hepburn and Bogart did in African Queen.  This movie is proof that sequels can be better than the movie they follow.  The scenery is beautiful (though most definitely not Oklahoma and the surrounding area).  The bad guys are bad, Hepburn's character is good, and Wayne's marshall is mostly good.

10.  The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - Okay, so I like Sergio Leone westerns.  Lee Van Cleef makes a better bad guy than the 'good guy' he played in For a Few Dollars More.  Eli Wallach is great as Tuco even though, as I mentioned in the hint, he sounds a little like Regis Philbin.  Of all Leone's westerns, this one probably has the most anachronisms and mistakes, which just make it all the more fun to me.

16.  The Great Escape - I kinda figured this one might be tough because I chose a fairly obscure quote.  What's not to like about this movie?  It's a good story with an amazing cast.
