murakoziWhile eating my lunch and watching the planes take off and land across the street at Dulles, I remembered something I meant to post about a couple weeks back.
Heading to the stables, I was waiting at the light to turn onto Rt 28 which runs parallel to two of the runways. While I waited, I saw a Pan Am DC-10 go in for a landing. That seemed kind of odd, since Delta absorbed Pan Am a while back and I've not seen a DC-10 in use in ages. I wonder if it was being delivered to the Smithsonian's Udvar Hazey annex south of the airport.
